Weekend roundup - June 14 - 16, 2013

Hamilton Air Show June 15 & 16 at 8235 Airport Road East, Hamilton.  They have the Snowbirds, parachutists, vintage aircraft on display and a kids area.  Parking and shuttle bus are free.  Admission: Adult are $30, kids over 6 are $20.

Oxford Renaissance Festival June 14 - 16 at the Woodstock Fairgrounds.  Around $50 for a family of four.

St. Agatha StrawebrryFest June 15th in and around the St. Agatha Community Centre.  They have a petting zoo, live music, bouncy castles and lots of strawberry treats.

Santa's Village opens for the season this weekend.  It is in Bracebridge and is a great amusement park of little kids.  They have lots of rides, a splashpad, a beach, games, live entertainment and of course Santa and Mrs. Clause.  There is also a car show in Bracebridge this weekend. 

Markham Village Music Festival June 13 - 15.  Admission is free.  They have music, crafts and fun for kids too including carnival rides. 

The Tall Ships 1812 Tour arrives in Brockville this weekend.  The Tall Ships will be visiting various towns and cities around Ontario all summer.  Here is a schedule of all of the dates on the tour.

Carousel Around the City is a multicultural festival in Windsor this weekend and next. 

Mississauga Waterfront Festival is on this weekend.  They have games, crafts, rides, music, antique cars. 

You guys?  There is a buttertart festival.  In Midland this weekend.  They have face painting, crafts, a magician and of course buttertarts.  What more do you need?

The Cobourg Highland Games are on this weekend.  They have music, dancing, haggis and my personal favourite, the caber toss

Lang Pioneer Village in the Kawarthas is having a smoke and steam festival this weekend. So, you can get your fill of steam trains and engines as well as checking out the old timey buildings.
